Not good. Must move back to Sweden earlier than expected and the plan to take the Taco with me doesn't seem to work for tax reasons.

So, probably, I must let it go. It really hurts!

Don't have any idea how much it's worth though. Can you help me out here guys? What's a reasonable price?

    Anybody interested?

That sucks man... after getting it built up so nice and then having to let it go so fast..

If you have the time and patience, you're better off selling the mods (tonnaue and such) on the side (either on here, craigslist, ect) and you'll make more back.

Sucks though... are the taxes really more than the hit you'll take with the mods and depreciation?

The import custom fee+taxes are almost $10.000!!! :(

But if I owned the truck minimum one year in US there are no fees or taxes at all for import. Just the shipping and minor "DMV" costs.

Why not store it in the US until your year is up, then ship it over.

In addition to checking Kelly Blue Book and Edmunds, search your local San Diego Craigslist listings to get a feel for local demand/prices. KBB doesn't really reflect the local market demand.

Another guy on this site recently recommended some other valuation resource that I just can't remember right now. Dealers use it, I think. NADA?

Then you should add up all your receipts for the extra goodies and knock some percentage off that for a bit of depreciaiton and add it to the book/local market value.
