That's what I was looking at. Not sure of reliability and customer service of Smitty.

Thanks, but I do have new bumpstops. SuperBumps from Wheeler's. But they are too short by ~2.375 inches. That's after accounting for the compression of the SuperBumps.

How often is the main pack down on that leaf during loaded ride height?
Rear suspension is at best a compromise unless you are lucky enough to have a constant rear weight.

To be honest I’m not sure, but I do have a constant rear weight. For every day use I have my HC with swingout, reinforced fiberglass contractor cap, shit load of tools and a heavy drawer system. Roughly 700 lbs, before a load camping gear.

I am actually surprised that your springs have that much arch in them. Guaranteed you are coming down on that overload during normal road travel.

Hope I don't run into that once I weigh mine down.

With that much weight the transition into the much higher spring rate of the overload is more than likely less noticeable. I only have about half his weight constantly, so I removed mine.no complaints so far. I have been contemplating having a few more leaves made to get rid of the bottom overload too. But I may not get around to it before my rear suspension gets changed up again. It works well enough as it is, just not optimal.

Yeah everything seems to ride kosher. I also only do slow speed stuff off road, and on road it seems to ride fine.

I still have both my overloads in plus the add-a-leaf and my back end definitely bounces a bit. Ive thought about removing one but the ride doesn’t bother me enough for the trouble

    Yeah. I learned from that.

I now carry a torch. But it’s a refillable butane mini torch. I don’t wanna overload my rear springs.

I was definitely hitting the bumps in normal driving with the dakars. Even with both overload leafs.
