    Hey TW.

I am getting ready to order some goodies with my tax return. I am dead set on putting two bars behind the grill utilizing SDHQ's light bar mount.

    This is the mount:
    http://store.sdhqoffroad.com/2016tacomabehind-the-grilledualledbarlightmount.aspx

I am going to be using Cali Raised LED bars. On the bottom, I am using their 32" Dual Row Combo Beam. This bar has 60 LEDs drawing 300 watts. On the top, I am using their 32" Slim Single Row Bar. This bar has 30 LEDs drawing 150 watts. I will use the provided harness for both bars.

My question is, if I use one OEM style switch from Cali Raised or something from CH4x4, could I wire both harnesses from each individual bar into one switch?

My main motivator is so I can just put the switch in the OEM blank on the left side of the steering wheel for a cleaner install, faster operation and overall simplicity.

    Thanks!

You'll need to use 2 relays, but you can trigger both of them from one switch.

Little this. Little that 4x4 Swap’d PreRunner
Use a relay and proper gauge wiring and you’ll be fine.

Lots of guys here connect multiple bars on the same circuits

Absolutely possible. Just run trigger wires from each relay to the switch.

trigger wire? Sorry, I watched their install video and figured it would just be as easy as running each bar's harness in parallel and merging them at the switch. Is it not?

That’s exactly what I’m saying. The trigger wires are the 12v lead that the relay diagram calls ‘switched power’. Power to that wire causes the relay gate to connect the power to the light.

Trigger wire is the white wire. Im assuming he is saying take both white wires from each harnest and connect to red 1 on the switch.

Yes, just join the switch wires from the relays to your switch in the cab.

No, you’re fine. If it does burn down we’re gonna need to see the video though.

@CaliRaisedLed do both the 32" single row and 32" dual row use the same harness?

You will notice when you are done installing wiring your switch will have a left over wire. Wire red 2. Caliraised harness has 3 wires.
