Morning all. Lovely drive in this morning; had the highway all to myself. Had 3 inches of snow on it, but whatever.

 

Morning all. Ride up 24 blew this am. In the city and no real accumulation

These were from 5:30am this morning. Last night around 9:30pm we had 6" or so from what I measured on my reg cab

 

Looks like hoarfrost. Cool.

 

Reminds me of the 2011 October storm. Trees are still weak from it

 

Took some time to get through!

 

I'd say there is about 18" right outside my door. The hills around me got more.

Yeah I went backroads this morning since 495 and the pike were a mess when I looked before I left. There were tons of tree limbs down.

Building opening at 10 today. Tons of snow. DANG. No school down here.

 

I went through it once in high gear just to get some of it moved so it wasn't a foot over the top of the auger. Then went through it again at a normal pace. That Ariens does a great job!

 

My neighbor has the same one. It does.

 

Holy crap that is a ton of snow, I was happy we only got what we did.

Just plowed, we have about 20 inches here in Savoy. Got stuck twice and had to pull out with the tractor, I think I need new front tires on the plow truck. My Ariens blew out the walkways no problem at all though.

Clipped the fucking gas connector and electric box on the side of the barn though, of course the gas companies 3 phone lines are ALL down or not taking messages and the owner mailbox is full. WTF. Taped the thing and stopped the gas leaking out at least.

 

Ugh. My hub warehouse in NJ is without power, and they aren't expecting restoration until Saturday. And since they're a hub warehouse, nearly ALL of the orders for the entire company move through that one location. We're talking about thousands of tires a day that won't be moving, and that doesn't even include container shipments from manufacturers. This is going to be a really shitty couple of days.

 

Hardly anything down here, but I def drove through some areas in pa and Jersey that got hit hard

Schenectady...only about 6” in town, closer to 12” at the ski hill. This snow has some hang-time, second pic is my tailgate handle.
