Arborvitae don't like heavy snow. Had to aggressively trim the neighbors that were hanging over my fence.

 

Easy to remove, but they are all up rooted. The ground is soft AF there too.

 

The surprise is that it wasn't worth at least 4 pictures

 

They spring back to life pretty quick after thaw

 

Not too good. Turns out when I finish my driveway I don’t want to do anyone else’s.

So insurance isn’t going to do shit. Can I just replant these and cut the broken branches off?

 

You can try. Depending on how bad the uproot was and how many roots got trashed. Give it a shot. If they die, you can rip them out and replant something else.
A-vitae are pretty robust.
