I keep waiting for one to tag me but clearly I live in the wrong part of town for that. Perhaps when I have to start driving out to Elgin when my work moves I will win the deer lottery! (not really... I'd love a bumper but I'd really rather buy it before crashing into anything, alive or dead)

It was an excuse. Nothing more. Got lucky the impact didn't do much damage and I feel like insurance was pretty generous with their payout, even with my high deductible. Honestly, I would have been happy staying with a stock bumper and keeping the 5100s for the lift. Would have saved me a ton of money. The winch has been the real money pit. Seems like there's no end to all the other stuff you need to make it usable.

I wouldn't mind a small strike against a poll or something... Sorry honey, the brush guard is too bent. Needs to go and be replaced with a full bumper... But in all honesty, she is on board for a nice front bumper. Unfortunately from just glancing at pics, she really likes the Road Armour ones :bananadead:. My only saving grace is that there is no first gen RA Bumper. But in true modding fashion, she is drawn to the most expensive things :D

Haven't looked on here in a couple days lol. But I mounted the bumper and then used a 1" metal hole saw for the ac line.. drilled from the outside and it worked like a charm. The bumper itself is stout and I have no doubts winching from it. I did put washers under the 6 nuts that mount it for a little peace of mind but it's not necessary. Also don't mind telling people it's the infamous ebay bumper lol. Can't really get a better deal on a full replacement winch bumper already welded, coated and ready to go with free shipping that got here in 5 days from CA.

I did the same didn’t use washers just flush mount. I’m proud of the bumper also for the price.

Those are beastly. There's a couple other fabricators that do similar bumper (minus the Bane-like hoops): never been a fan of that style. Looks like a big underbite to me.

I left out a word. Should have said, At 4am I was already arriving at work.

Sorry, I'm going to blame it on the early start and lack of caffeine in my veins.
