We discussed this need. Being me, I'll wait until the lines just rip off and I don't have rear brakes anymore before I do anything

I would suggest some type of limit straps before lbl. You've lost down travel now, and the only thing that will limit it is your brake lines.

If I were to get some extended rear shocks would that eliminate the need for limit straps?

Or would that make it worse since then the shocks wouldn't run out of travel before the brake lines were taut?

Rear brake lines are like $60

I understand this but I'm gonna need to get extended rear shocks anyway. Those poor OMEs aren't made for this kind of lift lol

Get with Marie at headstrong, tell her what lift you have and she may be able to find you the correct shock. Shocks are always going to be your limiter without straps. All of our trucks are that way. You just don't want your truck to out droop your brake lines

Morimoto's installed and adjusted, they're bright and great.

    That's the good news.

The bad news is that my 2nd hand OME rear's are too short for frankenleafs lol. I was worried my brakes would act as limit straps, and it turns out my shocks are currently acting as limit straps. So yes, I'm slightly lifting my rear tires off the ground going around corners quickly lol.

Ordering some extended Fox rears to fix this

Good insurance to protect the brake lines from over extension though.

I'll be bringing my new brake lines and a bunch of fluid to LBL in case I rip the stock ones off. So we can do roadside surgery lol

Let's just hope you get a little squat when you're loaded down with RTT and etc. and nothing traumatic happens.

Or, we just do the damn thing Thursday night/Friday morning and not have to worry about it all weekend.

I'm hoping @mwc273 is kind enough to unlock the Facility for me some night next week and I can put the shocks on. They should be here Monday. Otherwise I'm gonna hi-lift the truck at LBL and install the shocks there. I'm not interested in wheeling with maxed out rear shocks, not the way I drive. I'll blow a seal or rip off a mount or some shit for sure.

I'm also only expecting to drop an inch tops with all my weight based on it dropping about a quarter inch when I stand in the bed.
