If anyone is looking to get an alignment done in North County I highly recommend Accurate Alignments and Service in Oceanside. Got me dialed right in after the 6112 and LCA swap.

$120 and he wants me to bring it by next week just to recheck everything since the springs had less than 50 miles on them.

Not a bad price if it includes a follow up inspection. Better break them springs in good before you go back

Definitely go " bounce " a lot of speed bumps before you go back, just daily driving will not settle them 100%

Yup, that's what it was. Even Camp Pendleton was down. Or that construction crew in LA that cut through all of the Internet Fiber lines under the freeway in LA about 12-14 years ago. Internet service was down in ALL of SoCal for 2 days and systematically came back online within 5 days. What a huge fubar for that contractor.

Not exactly San Diego, but I'm heading to Riverside to pick up a Relentless Fab bumper and sliders for the truck. Was planning on making it a couple day trip and bring some friends along. What's a good city that's central to LA, Santa Monica, Hollywood, Anaheim, and Riverside? Was thinking of staying in downtown LA but it's too expensive. Anaheim was my next choice but it's a little too far from everything.

Check air Bnb. Just so you have a garage to keep the bumper and sliders in while you explore LA. They won’t last long in the bed of your truck

Anyone got hook ups on Mickey Thompson or Methods? I think it's about time I get a full-size spare for my Tundra. 40" tire. 17" wheel.

Didn't even think about Air B&B. Luckily the armor is weld yourself so it's just a bunch of metal plates and tubes. Probably still a good idea to keep it indoors though.

San Clemente and Lake Elsinore are the closest without actually getting into the heart of the city and you'll have some "rural" options within reason.Temecula or Riverside are the closest big cities. Beaumont might also be a less expensive option since it's a straight shot West to the heart of LA.

If it were me, I'd stop off for a night or two in Idyllwild on the drive up to Riverside. It's beautiful up there this time of year. Actually, it's beautiful every time of year, but a little snow on the mountain makes its extra nice.
