If you haven’t cleaned your truck off or shoveled the driveway... get out there! Shit is real heavy in the Boston area... thankfully only about 6”


Also kinda pissed right now... went out to clean the truck off and noticed this.... I guess Toyota’s paint really is crap.... looks like it literally just flaked off...

 

Nice! I'm right between Summer St and Somerville Ave, so not far from Broadway at all! Somerville is definitely a whole lot more ritzy than it used to be (from what I hear). Expensive housing, hipster bars and cafes. Not quite as yuppie as Cambridge, but not much better... But these days even Southie is getting hipster-ified.

Its actually pretty warm outside too... went out with a sweatshirt on under my jacket and had to take it off.

yea...

never used plastic to clean the truck off either... always a brush or soft foam pusher thing... doesnt look like trail pinstriping did it either.

 

I keep a bin in the bed of the truck with jumpers, tools, jacket, ball mount, tie downs, etc. Before I had the cap, I still just kept it all under the seat, just not in cubbies. I have kids so the under seat cubbies that are only accessible by lifting the seat bottom up are useless. It means I'd have to remove the car seats in order to get any anything in those cubbies. I very much prefer an open area under the seat. Plus, with the seat bottom up, I have a huge, flat surface to move something big in the cab if I ever need to.

 

My town was #1 for snowfall! 32"!

 

If you want to fix it yourself, check out Dr. Colorchip. I've had great luck with their product in the past. It actually is about as easy as their youtube videos make it seem.

 

Ah, yeah, no kids for me so the seats will probably be flipped up more often than not.

Alright I went and cleared off the truck! Apparently my landlord decided not to clear the parking lot... Looks to be about 6+ inches of snow, judging by my 6" lights.

 

I don't know what's up with you guys, I didn't have any snow on my truck

Weird thing is the two houses next to mine both have garages, and they never park in them. They're probably full of junk.

Why would I want to clear snow off my truck or carry groceries in during a rain storm when I can just hit a button and park inside?

 

mine doesn't fit in my garage yet

 

What do they have for vehicles? One Tacoma is too tall, the other two are too long, and the Rav4 is probably too long with the work bench in there now
