I spoke to Discount Tire Direct today and they said they have 81 tires in stock in that size. Said the local stores typically check with the manufacturer first when getting the tires in. They suggested I call the local store back and have them source the tires from DTD. Waiting to hear back from the local shop but don't see why that wouldn't work, DTD has plenty of inventory. I'm wanting to go through the local shop because they are giving me trade-in value on my old tires.

There is stock currently available at Discount Tire Direct. From what I understand the manufacturer is out of stock.

Thank you for your feedback. Hope you can get it worked out to get them on your fleet.

Glad to hear your local Discount Tire store took care of you. Thank you for your business.

    Awesome, we appreciate your support.

Yeah. Mine said they’ll do the install normal price and still do trade in value. But yeah. Would have been nice to just have it all done through them. Good advice. This forum is great.

What value did you get on your tires?

The local store inspected my current stock Toyo A30s with 2,800 miles on them, and they said they'd give me $75/tire. That'll be a nice offset to the price of the new ones, total outlay won't be that bad at all.

Wow, that is great. Nice to be able to trade them in and not have to bother trying to sell them on your own.

Hey guys, I've recently been looking into getting a set of tires, and I'm thinking about getting some of these. I have a few questions that I was hoping you guys could help me out with.

So I'm pretty sure I went through this whole thread, just not all at the same time. I think I remember someone mentioning that these tires run a little big compared to others?

I was thinking about going with the 265/70/17 but have read mixed reviews on rubbing and such, something I don't want to deal with.

If these tires do run a little bigger, I was thinking that the 265/65/17 should suffice.

TLDR - do these tires run big? Will 265/65/17 look close enough to 265/70/17s and not rub on stock suspension 3rdgen SR5?

1" lift from 3rd gen suspension, 265/75/16 ATs
Only made it to page 75 so far. Seemed like P265/75/16 is the perfect tire for me, but now unsure.

    1) Now after being out almost 2 years, are these actually making it to 50-55k miles as advertised? Was this just an issue with initial batch?
I have over 60k on my Geolandar AT's and still have 6-7/32" left. (They are LT load D, 49.5lbs each with 18/32 of thread when new). Hoping to improve on mpg slightly saving 5.5lbs per tire.

    2) Where are you getting best price in Canada?

    3) Surprised by that statement. While being supposedly slightly bigger than other AT's in the same size, I thought the consensus was 265/75/16 or 265/70/17 fits stock trucks. What offset and BS are your wheels? I have 16's with 0 offset and 4.5BS and currently have 265/75/16 Geolandar A/TS that are advertised as 31.9". These are advertised as 31.7" I believe. No rubbing anywhere without front mudflaps and stock suspension for me. I have 1" lift up front of lift since and no rubbing either. Should I be worried?

EDIT: Found this for SCS 6: 17 X 8.5 6 X 139.7 4.30" -10mm 24.0lbs. My wheels are American Racing Mojave 16x8, 4.50 BS, 0 offset. So mine are 1/2" narrower, more BS and less offset. Maybe that makes all the difference?

    4) How is the performance in snow? Duratracs have probably the best reviews from all AT's for winter use and are my most likely alternative option in load C and 265/75/16. They also go on sale regularly @ CT so price wise they would be comparable.

They fit better after having the alignment shop give me as much positive caster as possible. Even then they still rubbed on the rear mudflaps.

New 265/75r16 tires arrived today, install scheduled for Monday. They are much larger than my original equipment 265/70 BFG KO's.

I’m not sure if these count as “good” or if they are what you’re looking for but here’s a few pictures on my stock third gen. I have no lift and obviously these are the stock steelies. As a side note I absolutely love these tires!!

EDIT: I forgot that these are 265/75/16 as opposed to the question you asked. Which means these are the same width but are one inch taller than the size you asked about.
