I think I've read that it's '01 and newer on Tacomas. My friend with a '97 couldn't make it work.

As mentioned, it is the aftermarket UCAs that allow the possibility of getting higher caster numbers.

That would be perfect, my stove is just 24" wide.

This. I found mine where all the folding tables and chairs are in both black and white options.

This might be a dumb question, just trying to learn, the technician wouldn’t align the vehicle as best as possible without instructions?

I know I’m setting up all kinds of mechanics are boobs jokes here. Serious question though.

Yeah I was thinking similar to their bronco design for our first gens - I'd ask them to make one, but I don't think they'd get enough first gen guys to buy them to make it worth it. Just a clean silhouette or something most guys would want would be awesome. That sign must have take a lot of time to make!

Not all alignment techs are created equal. :)

I am just proactive about it. I tell them what I expect then let them tell me why its not attainable if it isn't. Then again, I am particular about the high caster. The truck is way more fun to drive with more than +2.5° of caster.

ok so as long as I have the same gear ratio I'm golden. Cause I think the front diff is a 7.5" and the rear will be a 8.4". I'll be running air lockers in so I don't mind the e-locker. Will try to use the original e-locker switch though :)

you can NOT swap the 8.4'' into the elocker housing. You'll either need to find a tacoma 8.4'' housing or swap the tundra housing over. However the tundra housing 6'' wider then the tacoma one so you'll want to get new bedsides.

I planned on putting a tundra rear end in. I just wanted to make that I wasn't going to destroy the new diffs or transfer case from binding. Sorry should of mentioned it my bad :D as of bedsides I'm thinking on ways to do it. But i got alot of time till this happens anyway.

If your just swapping the axle over then you have no problems. Just have to reweld leaf perches on.

So apparently my tapping noise that I get when I put it in 4WD is coming from my CV axle.

While they are always spinning there isn’t a ton of pressure until in 4WD, which causes the noise- according to local Mechanic dude.

So I gues I need to change both the axles out, which is neat.

ah. Well with a torn boot its is the CV no doubt. I know people on here who have run them torn and clicking for a long time though. But best to get it fixed.

The torn boot is on the passenger side, the noise sounds like it’s coming from the drivers side which is why i didn’t suspect it all the way.

So I've got a question. I tried every LED bulb in my climate control cluster. Tried the neo wedge 3mm, 4mm and the 194 bulb. Obviously the 194 bulb was WAY too big as it's used behind the speedo and stuff. 4mm was too big, bulb wouldn't even fit in the hole. Got the neo wedge 3mm today and it's too small. Plugged them in and nothing worked. Any suggestions??

Here are the ones I used on my 04 Tacoma HVAC unit. I did switch over to an 02 4Runner HVAC unit for the clear face plate. But the Neo wedge 4mm fit on both.
