Yeah prob would work do like 1/2" spacers would lift like 1" then with weight of bumper should keep you right where your at now.

Spare takes away precious cargo space where it's mounted.
Side panels are gross af, imo.
Not a fan of the light buckets.

Maybe this one is all kitted out, and he can add less stuff. I'm just not too keen on this one. However, I do see the benefit from it mounting INTO the bed than ONTO the bed rails.

For sure, he could custom make it into whatever you wanted.

I'd have him do a lower hoop from the front bed bolt to the side bar.

For some extendo shocks through the bed, or whatever the cool kids do.
