Just buy the 2018 version with garnish and see if you can find an insert if you dislike the tss garnish.

The problem that guys have is that at the present time Toyota will only sell 18 Pro Grille and Garnish piece only if you own a Pro Tacoma.

Not true. I ordered an OEM 2018 grille and garnish online from Conicelli Toyota. During checkout, there's a place to enter your VIN (which would identify your vehicle as Pro or not), but it's not a required field and I left it blank. I received an order confirmation stating that the parts are currently on backorder and would ship when in.

What exactly does the glass garnish peice look like for the pro grill? Could it be made from lexan or a clear poly plexi-glass??

Glad to hear you were able to complete your purchase, sounds like most guys on here as of a few days ago are not finding it so easily.

So, what is the part number for the 2017 Pro Grille garnish so it can be used in the 2018 Pro Grille?

No such thing. Head over to one of the many threads about the faux chinese grilles and buy an insert from someone who removed theirs for the TSS

Still wondering if the bumper cover will block the tss sensor capability with the pro grill... I already ordered the grill so I’ll figure out when it comes in... just would be nice to know before I start installing. Also anyone have a detailed picture of this aftermarket clip you have to buy? 2CAC10C9-05CA-4EE4-AFA3-16B573FA07C3.jpg

What "aftermarket clip" are you referring to?

    from another post
"To install the garnish in the new grille it just snaps in. You will need two new star lock fasteners. I don't know if they are typically provided or I didn't order them, but found them at a hardware store. They look like this - http://www.bakfin.com/starlock/metric-roundshaft.html"

Got it, thanks. I’ll have to see if they’re included with either the grille or garnish when I receive them.

I cant tell from the pic, but it looks like you do not have the "glass" garnish. If you do not have the glass garnish, the TSS will not work correctly.

Did you order from Conicelli? Did you enter your VIN number?
