    We did. But left the axle nut on, as to not mess up the end of the axle

    That was from replacing the seal, but yeah the leak was a pain. It’s finally all good now, three seals later

    Yeah it was an oem cv, but the rubber seal that’s in the diff itself is what was giving me issues. I kept installing it too deep. If your threads are fucked then you’d need some sort of thread tool to clean them up. Other than that, I’m not too sure other than dissecting a cheap one and only using the outer part with the threads on it

    get a new cv
    those seals are fragile. also had one go bad doing the ecgs bushing.

    i think we looked for a threading tool at one point and they are expensive in that size. i just ordered a cvj axle and decided to be done with it
