FIVE (5) Luxaire (rebadged York) central air-conditioners, and a Cummins 20kw whole-house natural gas generator!

If you look closely, you can also see a silver 2nd gen RC 4x4 parked in the driveway among the various work vehicles...

 

Some major money going into that house

 

According to the generator guy, they close this Friday (tomorrow)! The house is livable, but there are some things that they can't finish until after the weather warms up...

To say I’m jealous is an understatement

 

Not much in the way of a yard though...

 

With a house like that I don’t need no damn yard

 

It even has a finished basement!

 

This happened in April 2013...

When I was still in college and working on the school newspaper, I did a story where I shadowed the sound guy from the bar where I work (actually turned out pretty good and I got a B on it in class). My parents dropped me off at a record store in Manayunk (neighborhood in Philadelphia) where his first gig of the day was (and I rode with him to his second gig at a restaurant in Media, Pennsylvania later that day).

After getting what I needed for my article from the first gig, I wandered around Manayunk taking pictures, and no one seemed to care...

I was initially walking across the street from where the van in the pictures was parked, taking pictures of buildings and truck. My favorite radio station (93.3 WMMR; see what it says on the van) was holding some sort of semi-private event on a lot directly across the street and just steps away from the van. Nothing happened when I on this side of the street. At the end of the street, I crossed at the crosswalk and continued taking pictures. As a huge fan of WMMR, I figured the van would make an excellent addition to my photo collection. I started taking pictures of the van from different angles. While I was doing this, some guy who was obviously associated with the WMMR event appeared, chest puffed out, and he looked like he was he ready to rumble. He stated that he'd seen me taking pictures from across the street, demanded to know who or what what I was taking pictures of and "who I was with," and asked if I had a press pass.

I was utterly confused and told him the truth, that I was a fan of WMMR and Pierre Robert (easily the station's most famous DJ), that I also liked GM trucks, and that I was just taking pictures of the van because I was a fan. He apologized, told me to continue what I was doing, and disappeared as quickly as he'd appeared...
