Gotta be a blond ale for my stomach... Too dark and hoppy is no Bueno.

Doc I have a few things for you

They use to have a BBQ truck, I dont think it was there tonight, but they have brawts and spiced nut mix

I have rhino tracks on top and on the interior I ran some of the unistrut for lateral strength and to hang things from the inside. I guess I could run something down to the side rails for more structural strength.

 

We got hardly anything here, maybe 2-3". I didn't even bother shoveling tonight after work, I will shovel tomorrow. The Jeep is at the dealer so I've got its garage spot, so I can load up tomorrow and go.

I was annoyed with the TCS system today, though. I was going up my driveway and the stupid truck bucked like crazy. I put the clutch in and stopped. I got started again and as I'm off the clutch the thing bucked again and I ended up slipping the clutch way too much and all I could smell was clutch. Never again.

On a happier note I'm another step closer to my Proseur. I picked up a set of the Rigid fogs. I figure I can always pick up a set of SR-M fogs in the future. I may get the yellow covers they sell since they look kinda nifty.

 

They brew up north of Northampton but distribute out of a small wood shed behind Europa in Ludlow. They do make good beers!

 

The brewery that is set to open here in Danbury puts out a Brown Ale. That is one of three beers they are putting out right now, while they are trying to get up and running full speed. I like it.

If you're up for trying it since it sounds like you like Brown Ale's, and you're going to the FF meet, I can bring you a bottle to try. Just say the word.

You want some too?? SHIET! I've got plenty, sort of... Are you definitely coming down?? If it stays the 7th I'm in. If it gets pushed to the 8th than I'm out cause I have a birthday party to go to for one of my son's friends from daycare.

Cool. Can't say I've tried any reds yet, but the Brown Ale from the local place (Charter Oak) is pretty good, or at least it is to me. They also put out an IPA right now.

My "new" favorite though is a DIPA from a small local place a couple towns over, called Nod Hill. It's called Super Mantis, 8.7%, and tastes damn good! I stocked up on those at the last release. Grabbed the max, which was 4 4packs/person.

Love the punch you get with an IPA, or even double and triples, but just don't enjoy drinking the hoppy stuff.
