Sweet grill but DAMN cruel weather.

I'd never make it there. The ice alone would have me constantly busting my old arse everywhere.

Much respect to those of you who gut it out. I'll take the 8 months of humid Summer here and not complain, lol.

You're absolutely right, it's sad that people don't have a universal respect for one another to disagree with them and not feel the need to take/damage/hurt to get their disagreement across, but that's reality.

it all goes into how much risk of inconvenience and hassle are you willing to accept for "voicing" your opinion about said topic.

for example... in many place you can walk around with a rifle slung on your shoulder... perfectly within your right... but you're taking a risk that you're going to get harassed by the police or "concerned citizens". obviously the example is extreme, but the point is the same... how much risk are you willing to take... some will take a lot because it means that much... others wont. doesn't mean they disagree... just different levels of accountability.

you're right though, it's sad that people don't have a universal respect for one another to disagree with them and not feel the need to take/damage/hurt to get their disagreement across, but that's reality.

    Cool.

I hope you like it as much as I do mine.

I've had the tinted plastic models that bolt on and leave a little gap between the hood an the shield....just enough to get a bit of wax in there on occasion.

They each were "period correct"....we are going back to 1992 here. I've had several 4x4 vehicles, both trucks & SUV's.

One thing can be said for certain......any bug screen is better than none.....and given long enough....all the rigid plastic style types will eventually crack, chip, break (at least they did so protecting yer ride......sacrificial parts, no ? ).

These AVS Aeroskins are a different beast. They feel like they can take an impact and shrug it off. I must admit, though, that I've been apprehensive about it being adhered to my trucks hood, though. I can only wonder what type of shenanigans may being on under there. I plan on keeping this truck forever, though. It'll be my daily driver now. In a few years it'll become a hunt truck......day off work truck.....lifted, rims, etc. :mudding:

My daily driver then will hopefully be a modern muscle car. By the time I find out if there is damage going on between this deflector and my paint....I'll like be the timeframe that I do a repaint with LineX or something similar. And.....odds are that this dang deflector will still be intact.

As far as "What I did to my 3rd Gen today?".......

Was just checking the mail & prepping stuff for dinner and saw that my door sill protectors arrived.

Also stepped out in the dusk to see how my map & dome lamp LED upgrades looked..........

    So....darkness came. Thankfully.

Went out and checked my new dome & map LED's.

Was worried that I'd wear out my key fob battery playing with it as darkness ensued.

Fun stuff....this low cost upgrade may have just saved me mucho dinero vs. having some other puddle light workaround done on my truck.

Now....is it as bright as the Rigid Ignite pair I was considering having installed into my side mirrors ???? Nope......but it works right now for me. Will have to check it in the woods and see.

The reverse bulb swap was mighty noticeable, too.

Periphery light on the driver's rear was much appreciated !!!

Hell, same could be said for the passenger's rear.....

    I'm very pleased thus far.

    Got tow mighty no.....!!!!!!

Don't let good lookin womenz stop wearing skirts.

This must last even when all other norms an morays fall to the left.

    Skirts......and yoga pants must persevere.

Like these? Ignite floods and puddle lamps in mirrors.

They are MESO Custom mirrors. Rigid ignites and puddle lamps integrated into mirrors for stealth looks. Puddle lamps come on with proximity sensor and/or when unlocking door or opening door. Ditch lights on regular switch. Can also be used as side lights by pulling mirrors inward. Love these things but lots of labor involved on his part. Heres a pick so you can see puddle lamp and rigid flood light. Also has ultimate turn signal .
