Negative. She just likes Brighton area. Wife is a Critical Care RN about to be a Acute Care Nurse Practioner. Beats the Fugggg out of my FF/Medic salary so I go where she go :D

My wife is the bread winner too, she didn’t mind her commute when we bought our house.... I70 redo is going to challenge that mindset

We moved a couple of years ago to get rid of the only commute we had, bringing my son to school. Wifey and I both work from home. Sometimes that makes it hard to intercept incoming packages, but I've given up asking what's in her Amazon shipments, and she doesn't question mine.

Once we move up there I’ll most likely be retiring from FF/Medic and moving into a full time student and Mr.Mom role for a few years so my commute will be null void but hers will be important

I am up by Brighton, I like it up here, but commuting to downtown from here or even the west side can be a pain in the ass. Just depends what center she ends up at.

Brighton isn't bad. There are some older housing areas but a lot of newer stuff. I'm not to far from Brighton. Just south.

Downtown Brighton has a couple of breweries now! Pretty cool little place. A friend of a friend owns Something Brewery, they have pretty good beer. Lots of growth right now in the highway 7 corridor between old Brighton and I-25. I'm just SW of there. There's a new hospital at I-25 and 144th Ave, only 15 minutes from downtown Brighton.

Exactly. I think we will rent for a short time in Brighton and then buy near wherever she winds up.
    Where ya?

Not to mention Children’s on Hwy 7 and the new University Medical center to be built on the south side of Hwy 7, between Sheridan and I-25.

Where she will wind up will have to be a Level 1 trauma center. So that narrows down a lot of choices.
