What’s the superwinch warranty like? And what is part availibity like, should you need to repair
Warn is lifetime, and i’ve rebuilt an older warn and part availability was pretty good?

 

Those are good questions let me look at superwinch.

 

here is what I found on Warn site. The one I was looking at was the tigershark model.

 

That’s why I’m planing on getting another warn winch for my 1st gen

It’s more maintenance, but safer stronger and lighter

 

VR Warn is built in China like the Schittybuilts, superwinches, harbor freight, etc.

 

That’s why they’re so cheap. Warn still has better support though. Warrenty and parts

 

damn, cheap is not what I would call it. $800 for a winch.

 

Well relative to Warns other winches.

 

Hmmm, I could go with a M8000 non synthetic line and upgrade later.

Oh man and I was just about to tell you the calipers clear fj steelies



It actually has more clearance than it looks like just a wired angle

 

Put those chrome steel wheels on your truck when she gets new wheels for that

 

Actually, I was already eye balling those rims. I'd have to paint them or something though. Not runnin chrome on my truck... ew


If I can get her wheels and tires with enough left on our State return, I'll at least be able to do the Tundra brakes... My federal return is the big silver thing sitting in my driveway.

 

Awesome! I'm still weighing my options on wheels. I like the look (and price) or going with FJs or some other steel wheels. But I'm not sure I want to go with the additional rolling weight over aluminum.
