Im looking for a good off-road heavy duty folding spare tire holder that can handle a heavy e-rated KO2 for my receiver hitch - I have stock bumpers and want a second spare for extended off-road trips. Id rather not put it in the bed to save room nor do I want to put it on top of my cap or cab to keep the weight lower. Any recommendations?

Wow! Thanks! Well, I did say the best.
Anyone use the Wilcohitch here? How’s it working out?

I can't remember there was one out here that had it, put it up for sale and now another member has it I think. OC thread, Rancho Cucamonga thread or the inland Empire thread.

I've seen multiple complaints about the customer service and warranty with the wilco hitchgate. I have no first hand experience with one though.

I had the plastic circle that the locking pin goes into get smashed and I called them up and they gave me a new one. No complaints from me.

I'm glad to hear that. You never know unless you experience it.

Thats a good review. Your hitch as seen on your avatar looks nice, are you storing 2 spares or just 1?

Just the one. I'll be honest the Wilco is more of a storage area for my hi lift, rotopax, and trash carrier than anything else.

I put it on before a trip in January and haven't taken it off partly because of the weather but mostly because I don't have a place to store it.
