I had a 2.5” spacer lift up front with a block on the rear leafs on my 2011 Prerunner ... all was good until we went on vacation in NE Georgia and found some logging roads to play around on while going to Lake Tugaloo. The right front strut cracked at the top and the seals failed. Fluid everywhere and it was an interesting ride home.

After that experience I paid more attention to the ‘sayers of nay’ and found that some of them actually knew what they were talking about when researching lift kits. I went with Bilstein 5100s and never had another problem. Even when I went up to a 4” lift spindle, I just moved the rings down from 2.5” to 0 lift on the front 5100s and added an 2” dealer AAL and all was well with the world again.

The struts will need replacing at some point. enjoy the spacers while they last but look towards upgrading the suspension... take care of your truck and it will take care of you.

I think I've succeeded in making you look like an idiot. I have 4 PMs from other users on here asking me what your problem is, basically agreeing that you're a dumbass and that you're known for starting shit-storms on other posts as well. No need to continue beating a dead horse, as they say... Time for a nice, ice cold Busch Light!

Just saw the wording in this post. I have a 26yr old severely autistic son that functions at a 1 year old level. Is that what you're referring to with that word? I've kicked people's ass AND gotten busted up pretty bad in tussles when someone uses that word in front of me. Atleast I know the type person I'm dealing with. Now I feel sorry for you.....

I asked him to stay on topic and PM with any questions or comments towards me... He still wants to disrespect the thread.

In your opinion, who do you think needs to be banned? I am just curious.

You want me banned? Tell me why.

Are you not kicking the same dead horse with your comments? Should you be banned as well?

01A8216C-6B2E-4A04-8136-A015303A6CA5.jpg 3inch spacer lift all the way around. I don’t think it was the lift that caused the failure but the flipping and the tree. You can see we’re the body mounts were shredded.
