Rear Shock Question

So I am ordering my Alcans soon

they will be 6" to match a fabtech front

I am having a hard time finding shocks to fit my needs. I am assuming I will need 12-14" of travel, but all the shocks that I find have eyelets at both ends and not the top studd that we use.

any suggestions?

I think the fabtech lifts use dirt logic shocks, but I'm assuming you might also be able to run 7100's or another similar shock.

 

Nevermind, I think the 7100's have eyelets at both ends.

Here is the Dirt logic shock part number at the end. I believe this is the one you would want.

Rear OE Single - FTS81037 - FTS80037

First one is non-resi, second one is with the resi.

 

I have heard that the base Fabtech shocks are too short to run a full leaf pack. I wonder in the dirt logic shocks are any better as far
as length

I am ordering Alcans to match the front

6" lift with 250 lbs of extra weight capacity

I am putting the 6" fabtech with Icon Coilovers in the front

it should sit just fine

That thing is going to be a beast. If you want you can always have a fab shop change your upper mount so you can run those shocks.

 

No idea, I don't know much about drop bracket lifts so I can't provide anymore information unfortunately.

I found a conversion kit from Total Chaos to change it to an eyelet style.
