    Afternoon all:
Looks like we got about 6 3/4" of heavy wet snow here, so far so good!
Hope you get power back soon Dave, wonder what the problem is that is taking them so long to restore power to some, maybe too many crews were sent to PR. :notsure: Even if that would be the case I wouldn't be too upset, the people down there needed all the help they could get!

Hope you folks back home stay safe. Just be careful shoveling the heavy snow. With a little luck this will be the last of the snow.

Power came back at 1:30 almost on the dot. I was impressed.

Snow is done here, and the cleanup is done too. I didn't want to let this stuff solidify overnight. HEAVY sludge.

I hope thats the last "Noreaster" for this year. It was like shoveling and snoblowing a heavy slurpee.

Hi Mike, How is your son making out with his wrist. It's a real PITA only having one hand to use. Take care and be safe with all the snow.

    Evening all:
Having a backup heat source is a big plus when the power goes out, glad I put a coal stove in the basement that keeps me nice and comfy during winter power outages. I also have water on the property which is a big plus, without having either I think I would buy a generator.

We have a wood stove, a spring house, and a generator. Hauling water and lighting candles was romantic at first but got old pretty quick. And taking a shower is almost a necessity for SWMBO. :anonymous:

    Doing ok Ken I think.
With this blizzard I haven’t talked to him to much.
He had a friend plow for him. He’s still sore as hell.
Since I had to work I still have a bunch more removal to do so only 40% done.
    Going to take a while.
    Thanks for asking

Howdy! Back again to catch up on goings on. How's everybody? Been in the hospital again myself. Flu, went into pneumonia. Back to about 70%. I still get tired walking from room to room. Hoping to start feeling like a human again soon. First six months of 60's isn't off to the flying start I'd hoped for.

    Morning all:
Must have missed where your son hurt his wrist Mike, hope it heals up fast.

Come on Dave, where's the pioneer spirit! A bucket of water warmed up on the stove for washing and another bucket at room temp for rinsing, it can get a little cold if doing it outside though, but you learn to do it fast!

Glad to hear you're on the upswing from the flu and pneumonia Bill, sounds like the worse part is behind you, take care!

    Happy birthday also Rob!
