    Yea looking to throw tires on my SR5 wheels. No need for lugs. No worries with TPMS.

    Are you sure about that? I thought they monitored pressure differently: Direct vs. Indirect.

    I could be persuaded to separate them and sell just the tires. Except for the newer one, I'm guessing they've about reached their half-life. $300? If you're at the meet tomorrow you can take a look at them.

    Direct actually measures the air pressure. Indirect measures the circumference of the tire while it's spinning: A tire with low pressure will have a different rpm than the others. I'm only speculating that they're different because the 3rd gens tell the driver exactly which tire is low and the current air pressure. A feature that indirect TPMS sensors are incapable of.

    I have to work tomorrow, Sunday and Monday 6:45am to 7:15pm then driving back up to Temple. We can touch base once you get your new wheel/tire combo installed, hopefully I can make it to next meet as I have only been once. I typically work weekends. The 5100s look nice!
