Well, since we're comparing odometers, I bought mine 10/11/17 and I have 9,100+ on it.
I do have a car I was driving for the gas mileage but I think I've only driven it like 3 or 4 times since I bought the taco.
I just love driving my truck. I'm afraid when my OVTune arrives and I install it I may end up sleeping in the truck too.

Going south on Rt4 for shouldn't be that bad. I think people coming from the Park and Solomons have it worse.

GR is very stock friendly as long as it isn't super muddy.

But we did manage to do three River Crossings and couple of them were past my door sill . Thank God I had the extra weight of the front winch .

The stealership says to change the oil in my F-150 every 5k but the truck has an oil meter in it and has me do it at 10k. The truck uses 6 quarts of 5W-30 HTO-06 Full Synthetic in a 2.7 liter which is a lot of oil in such a small motor. I do my own oil changes and when I did it at 10k that oil was as clean as new. The only annoyance is the filter. It's a cartridge filter under the air intake tube and with each change of the filter it comes with 3 o rings to replace too. Filter is pricey and it's in a stupid spot.

Makes me wonder how much money they make on people... No idea what they charge but I bet it's at least $100.

    A thing or two...
The 2TR takes 6qt with a filter change.

Nah. 2.7 has a tow rating of 7600lbs which is plenty for anything I tow. Heaviest load so far was my car trailer with my 2002 T4R. 6600lbs with no sweat.

The MPG difference is what sold me. Im in Florida right now, drove down Tuesday night. Averaged 67 miles per hour and 24 miles per gallon. The 3.5 would be around 18 or 19 miles per gallon. Not a huge difference but it is on an 1100 mile trip. Even when I trailer my 4Runner I still get 16 mpg.

well here at the stealership I work at, if you desire full syn, it will run you around $85.00 which includes a tire rotation, but syn blend will work just fine, and that would be around 49.00 to include a tire rotation... :notsure:

Not bad. The ones local to me are a lot more. So I just do it myself along with the tire rotation.
