If in woods. Two shorter snatch straps and a soft shackle.

Haha. Too short and too long in 1 day .

I've got a coworker with a badass Titan XD who's into wheeling, but if he gets stuck there's no hope.

There isn't a day that goes by that I don't regret talking my buddy into a WRX. I mean, its badass, but its useless. He doesn't even get that much better gas mileage.

I've done it several times and it does work. It sucks and takes forever and is a lot of work but it will get you out eventually

You could get a cable come along hand winch. I pulled my dad's old f150s out of all kinds of crazy situations with them when I was younger. They take forever, but they're more versatile than a winch mounted to a bumper. They'll also give you a much better workout!

Good insurance, empty credit card and an extended tow policy. Friends that wont bail on you when you call late on a Sunday night. Never wheel on a Sunday.

A source of fire is nice to have if your stuck in the woods, especially if the nighttime temp is below 45*f. Flashlights are also nice to have.

I plan to start wheeling this summer so I'm looking at night time temps of around 90+ humid degrees. haha

Water. If you're going deep or more than a days walk out, bring water.

The factory front ones are meant for tow trucks. They're not designed or rated to be tugged from with a snatch strap or kinetic rope.

That front point isn't even rated to pull from when you're stuck using a snatch strap.

It's held in by two bolts

    Interesting.

It's held up fine twice for me so far, one of them I was pretty damn stuck.

I've seen it used. I've also seen how much it bends.

I've seen failed rigging .Not something I want to see on the trail.
I have the ARB point in the front. Beefy, and worth it
