Super strange for sure!! It definitely looks like a body. That whole specific scene is weird, from beginning to end...

Safety issue for who? The Broward county cops twiddling their thumbs outside because they'd been given a stand down order? Seriously? The first responders are told to stand down and trained SWAT members are suspended for responding and the vast majority don't find this to be a WTF moment

They weren't on any coms, so nobody would have known they were in there, and THEY wouldn't have known if the Broward County team moved in...hence the safety issue. I truly do understand what they were thinking when they wanted to go in and save lives. Hell, that's what they signed up for...but went in with a little too much heart, and not enough head.

I commend their desire (sure we are not the only ones thinking that way) to want to get the situation resolved, just they weren't using ALL of their training and knowing that they also needed to be accounted for. Once again...all sides certainly could have and should have handled this tragedy better.

That's how Ft Lewis lost its SRT. They went in without letting pierce county SWAT know. Ended up exchanging fire.

The SWAT issue comes down to authority of command and control. Hindsight being 20/20, we're aware of how Broward Co actually handled things, but that doesn't negate the fact that there was a separate team of shooters on site who were outside of the operational command and control.

As bad as Broward looks now, a shootout between two different police forces wouldn't help ANYONE.

Sorry but though there's no sound in the video, it's more than clear that the douchbag filming this hit the gas to shut out the poor guy in the taco. It's called NOT SHARING THE ROAD. The Taco needed that exit and probably didn't realize it till the last few seconds. Shit like this happens to everyone and it's just plain fucked up to not let someone in on purpose.
