The Sport and OR have almost as much chrome as the Limited?

My grille is dark chrome, but still too much for me. I've eliminated as much as possible (blacked out dash and console chrome, debadged including wheels, and stickered the steering wheel logo). This summer, I plan to derp the grille.

8167km on mine since I bought it on Dec 30th (ODO Had 6km when I picked it up).

It’s been fantastic. I Love it! Took it in for the first service today, no issues whatsoever!

Guess I am confused. I thought you had the sport too not the limited. My sport only has chrome grill nothing else. The limited also has a chrome grill but it is styled different plus does it not have chrome around the fog-lights. The offroad I think also comes with a chrome rear bumper.

    Yes. I have a Sport.

    It came with:
    -- Chrome grille
    -- Chrome badges
-- Chrome interior trim (that reflected into the windows causing distractions)

This is how I have it now:

Along with V6 and 4x4 gone from the tailgate:

    IMG_20180208_165405.jpg

I just need to paint the grille.

I'm not bothered by the headlight, mirror signals, or dash knob chrome for now.

It is just my opinion that the badges and such could have been matte black or something other than chrome.

Thanks for the heads up, didn't feel like waisting time there just to find out they won't do anything. Like I said it doesn't really bother me.

I have 15K on my 2017 TRD OR and no problems. The only problem was that the black part of the bumper separated from the fascia, they replaced it a use some of their super glue. Fixed.

In July I bought my first Tacoma.
I have 13,500 miles mostly on road. It’s a 17 DCSB OR 4x4. Sky Silver with prem and tech package / JBL. . I’ve did some cosmetic mods. Pro grill and sport hood , black emblem overlays , interior leds , Hondo radio knobs , Access tonneau cover. Next up is wheels , lift and tires and exterior led heads , highs and fogs and light bar either predator side steps or sliders.

I have had zero issues. Plenty of power for me , pulls my 3000 lbs fine. I do wish it had a low final drive ratio for more low end but it is what it is. Lovin every minute I’m driving it.

I had a lot of issues my first 6 months ownership that nearly had me dumping the truck - but I fixed them all myself (very little dealer help...sigh) and when OVTune came out it was the final piece. With the truck tuned to shift, accelerate, and hold gears properly it's easily my favorite vehicle I've ever owned. hands down.

Only 914mi on mine so far and it is one of the best vehicles I have ever owned. The looks, the interior, the power, the utility. I was going to make a post the other day to thank the members of TW for all the complaining and whining because it helped prepare me for how to drive the truck and what to experience. I drive it with ECT on in town, and I drive in S mode on the stretch of 60mph freeway, I use D for the 70mph stretches we have. I would've been pretty upset if I had bought the truck not knowing how to CURE these issues. I still have the OV Tune to buy, because more is more fun, but I am not in a rush to do it to "fix" any of the issues others have had.
