Aluminum and steel collar spacers cost about a buck each at True Value.

Id definitely do something to change that, sand getting up between those parts will really start grinding away at your diff housing if it isnt there already.

I liked my RCI full set of aluminum skid plates.
These welds are at the opening for the oil change cover.
1.5 y/o skids which were on my 2016 truck.

I have their newer designed skid so I don't have that issue, but I also have a ricochet off-road transmission skid the goes between the front skid and the crossmember so it gives an additional 1/4" of clearance so I was gonna suggest the transmission skid which will give you an additional 1/4". Plus the ricochet comes with aluminum spacers not those cheap plastic ones.

Haha, thanks! I own a small shop called dissent offroad, we specialize in land cruiser products but Tacoma products are in the works. Already have released the racks but have kept it low key do to the current back log.

Well with welds like that, you are going to grow fast. To some it may seem silly, but if that kind of details goes in welds, then it says a lot about the detail of the actual product. Curious on your Tacoma projects in the works ;)

Pretty shotty if people are just posting pics of welds on stuff that they don't even own. I have several products myself from RCI, and have seen plenty of RCI products on other rigs here in Colorado. They put out great stuff from what I have seen in person, and I've seen alot. I wouldn't write off the entire company based off a couple pics on here. I've seen some other well known companies (Not going to mention names) that have messed up products as well and straight up lie about lead times. @ajsabra Did you purchase direct? Or is it possible you bought (unknowingly) the older version locally?

I find it funny when someone is expecting TIG welds from MIG welding. There is plenty of penetration and why I didn’t even bother re-welding.

You want TIG welds, be prepared to pay a heafty price.
