Yeah. The 3.5 def has more but the 2.7 has enough for me. The only complaint I have with the 2.7 is leaf springs are too soft for its rated payload and tow capacity. Almost on the bump stops when at max capacity so when driving youre hitting the bump stops which sucks for lower back on long drives. I plan to do airbags soon.

I was just about to say, anything that isn’t a 3/4 or 1 ton should have airbags

Turd gen definitely can't handle its max capacity. I tow at 80% max with no rear suspension upgrades. Idk how Toyota though the truck could handle 6400 lbs towing. Power and brakes are fine. Rear just doesn't feel up to the task.

She should scoot and get excellent fuel economy, for a boat. Doesn't take much power to move those things. Suzuki makes a great outboard. Can't even order a new Yamaha right now. They're on backorder forever.

Anyone in here want a free 12-15 black hood? Someone in NOVA is getting rid of it.

Yeah I'm curious of the longevity of the Ecoboost motors. Let's see how they are in a decade. Turbo technology has come a long way.

You hold back way too much in your posts. You need to practice being more open.
On the other hand, you always make me laugh.

That's really good for your setup. With no lift, on the 265/70's and a full bed I was able to pull off 22.2 going from my house down to Ocean City and I think I might have average about the same MPH too.

Possibly but I, like the average consumer doesnt keep a vehicle long enough to have to worry about major issues. Longest I keep vehicles is 3 years, typically less. I rarely drive this truck. Maybe once a week at this point. I use it for road trips and runs to Lowe's. Pretty much in the 4Runner everywhere I go.

    A thing or two...
It's a Ford, so I'd be more worried about the longevity of the automatic transmission.
