18x10!! Would you even be able to turn! That would take like a 12.5 wide tire minimum.

    Snugtop, more to come!
Hello WA folks! I am a recent convert from the Jeep world to a Tacoma and will be building my truck this summer. I'm sure I'll start a thread when I do and the work is mostly being done by my friends at a local shop here Mule Expedition Outfitters as it will be built for overland travel, but I do like me some technical trails. I would love to meet up and go on runs in the area! I'll keep an eye on this thread.

I’ve seen a few guys in here running 18x10’s just like the way it looks. Just want a wider tire.

My 35s are 12.5” on an 18x9 wheel. Pretty wide tire that has performed extremely well for me.

I usually ask for Jarrett when there. Now is time to stay away from all kind of off road shops for a while. :)

Shasta CVT Extended Braklines F/R Diff Breather Mods CB Stealth center console install and a few other things......
Starting off, excuse me for this long post you are currently reading..... or passing by haha! Been out of the tacomaworld realm for a while besides poking around here and there since my last trip to MOAB a year 1/2 ago. (life and work sometimes take you away from your true loves..... these damn trucks/turning a wrench/getting out and exploring) But, I recently picked up a used ICON lift set up that's extended travel front and rear with an ICON standard 3" leaf pack (I have Built Right Uni-ball uppers). Waiting on some new LCA bushings and extended brakelines to come in to do the work. Looking to find a weld shop to re-do my body cab mount chops and recess them another inch and weld on my spindle gussets. But also curious if anyone on here has heard of leaf packs making a popping noise while driving or articulating!? The current setup I have is a Bilstien RR, add a leaf springs, with the axel shims and never had any issues..... the guy I got these from said from time to time he would hear/feel a popping noise/sensation coming from the rear? (he previously had ATO rear leaf shackles?) I would also like to buy something that's re-greasable myself (for the rear shackles), before I get into re-doing the whole lift.

**I have been doing quite a bit of research on parts, not being lazy. Just looking for input on what has worked for others and best advice from a few with the new setup I will be running! Thanks for any help/input you guys might have!!

Yes popping noises are mostly normal for a leaf pack. Mine used to pop all the time when fully stuffed

Unless it's the gas tank skid. That shit shatters. Luckily it didn't puncture the gas tank.
