Oh, I get it now. They then rent them out to movie shoots as background in period movies.

So, coming soon to an '80s movie near you...a 4 cylinder shitbox.

Those will most likely go to the scrap yard. I don't think they'll get a single bid. If the they do get a bid that person will probably never pay or pick it up

There are some weird enthusiasts out there. Never know who had one as their first car and wants to restore one. :notsure:
    I mean, if I had the spare $$ I'd restore a K-car; my first car was a red '89 Aries 4 door with a 2.2 and the 3-speed slug-o-matic.

Basically this exact car, but with peeling clearcoat on the hood

And when I say 'red' I mean RED. The paint, interior, carpets, seats, all the exact same color of red

The Tempo first came out in 1983 or 1984, which means the oldest ones are 34-35 years old...

That means those Tempos have been mothballed for their entire lives!!!

My friend had an '81 Cadillac Brougham that he traded his old hearse to an old man for. This old Caddy had less than 22K original miles on it (this was in 2013), and was completely stock except for an aftermarket CD player. It needed some cosmetic work, but this car was in amazing condition for being almost 32 years old! My friend said he was extremely hesitant to sell it to somebody in the city because they'd probably paint it some butt-ugly color and put 26-inch wheels on it!
