I have an Acer BD6510 and it gets the job done! I paid just under 700 for it. There are good projectors out there under a grand I’d think. Mine is only 1080P but seems just as good as theater. I have a PC that I run it with. The tricky part is fit this in the headlight housing.

These are nice outside too. You can project on the side of your house for games or movies.

Haha were talking about these kinda projectors lol, but wow those look high maintenance. Hopefully they are covered in the warranty.

I called Kustom 54 today, they said they bolt the FXR in, and also epoxy it. That was my biggest concern, how they secure it. I am really liking the output on these.

    EPOXY in a projector ?!o_O

What's high maintenance about it? With the engineering and design behind these.. they will probably outlast many aftermarket components.
What's this "warranty" thing you speak of?:p

Maybe he meant, bolt them in and epoxy the screws/nuts so they don't back off. MY best guess.

I’m no good at building headlights..

I thought the FXR had to be fitted in place with an epoxy gum since it doesn’t screw into the existing hole like an H1?
