    Yeah, I have an oversized Phillips Driver as well, soaked the screw in WD40 and it will not budge.

    It is almost like they used lock-tite or something because the screw will not budge and I don't want to strip it or twist the door.

    I used a #3 Phillips and a impact screw gun and that thing came right out. The trick is to have the right #3 Phillips bit or it's gonna strip the screw.

    Just asking to see if it is a Texas thing or Mexico. Or by model my sr5 made in Mexico was tight but broke loose. No oil or wd40 Just a good torque on the screwdriver.

    I'm caught up. Only thing left is the guys that have the aftermarket locking cap with the wonky threads.
    You cannot modidy a 3rd Gen..Dimensions are way different.
