    Thanks!
It’s also an excellent, robust watch.

I had a Luminox before, after 7 years, the clasp on the bracelet gave out during a PT test. It ended up face down between my palm and the gym floor. Glass was wrecked (which was fixable) but the case where the strap pins go in tore right out.

So I decided “No more composite cased watches”
Did some research and found the Marathon watches.
It has everything I was looking for in a watch at a fairly reasonable price.

Sorry the pic is not the best.
My phone apparently does not like dark photos :p

Still looks great! I like that the 12 marker is a different color. That is a nice touch.

Very nice! Citizen makes great watches, and you just can't beat a solar atomic watch. It is so nice to set it once and never have to worry about it again.

Unless you travel across time zones, but then it's relatively easy to set it up or down.

I always hated watches with date windows because they always needed adjusting. The atomic watches adjust themselves.

The perpetual calendar should be pre-programmed for several years and automatically change the date for you. Another great feature of that watch. Does it automatically adjust for Daylight Savings Time?

Yes, you can turn it on or off since some countries/states don't observe DST.

I have an old Bulova with a Japanese movement which also has a perpetual calendar with no date window. It uses the complications and the second hand to indicate the month, day and day of the week.

Yeah makes for easier reading in the dark if you’ve moved the bezel or whatnot.

Thanks! Seiko is my favorite watch company.

That is a great looking watch. I like the canvas strap. Did it come with that or did you change it out?

Pretty. Is the crown at the 8 for the inner bezel?

Yup. Internal bezel. Good old mechanical chronograph with modern touch. The case though. It’s gorgeous.

The domed crystal and engraved rotor are very pretty. What is the that on the side of the case above the crown? Looks like some kind of valve?

That's one of the things i always liked about my Citizen, it even takes leap years into account. What I don't like about it is the capacitor dies every year or two, ever since i stopped wearing it every day
