It's for recovery. You can wrap it around a tree or a rock/boulder or bury it in the ground. Then you hook the winch to it.

Yep. Watched Ronny Dahl use it on a beach in Australia on his YouTube channel and I had to have it. Looked versatile, effective and packs down small - I was going to get a pull pal or something similar before this but they're heavy and take up quite a bit of space

Not sure if anyone here remembers me bitching about a guy trying to sell me a Magnaflow exhaust and then deciding to put it back on his truck (totally his right-see my previous post about that) but he ended up getting back in touch with me so I drove down to Richmond and picked it up. Now I’m on my way to San Antonio for a week so I can’t put the muffler on, or finish painting my rims so I can order my new tires. I also found out that the switches I bought for my external LED ditch lights don’t fit in the area under the A/C controls. The ones I bought which I guess are the most common are the ones on the left side of the steering wheel. So my search for switches continue so I can add the lights.

Here is a couple crappy pictures of the muffler. Hoping is sounds good.

Where did you buy your switch from? Air On Board sells switches for the center (https://www.aironboard.com/online/toyota-replacement/tacoma-2011-2013-center.html), so does CH4x4 (http://www.ch4x4.com/product-category/push-series/toyota-small-push-switches/).

I bought two from Amazon and then got one as a gift for Christmas from my Amazon wishlist. I found out about Air On Board from this forum and just have to figure out how to either sell other switches first or just buy the other switches.

Have you looked into returning them? Amazon is usually pretty good about returns. Or just put them in the BST forum. They'll go pretty quick I bet. What switches did you buy? What are they labelled?

What model is the Magnaflow (part # if you have it) cause mine sounds pretty good for a 4-cylinder in my opinion. Not too loud since its a 18".

No that’s a good idea. I tried to return but the weirdest thing was they cost like $10 but the return “shipping” was $7....even though I’m a Prime member. One was a gift so I couldn’t return it anyway and now I’m out of the return window. One is labeled Sasquatch Lights and I think one is labeled Rear Lights. For some reason I can’t remember which one it is, but glad to know you like yours. Hopefully it will give me the sound I’m looking for.

I had the same set up but without the tailpipe extension. Mine just had the turn down after the muffler. It was a bit too loud for my taste and I always thought it would be just right with the tailpipe. You'll like it I'm sure

Cool thanks. I’m definitely excited about trying to get it installed soon. I’m in Texas this week thinking the 65-degree weather is perfect to be outside working on my truck, and then look at the weather for back home.
