so I don't think there's a way to have the digital display then...as it's tied into the climate control

Only part of the premium package with the jbl, moonroof, clinate control and heated seats. With it being tied in I imagine an aftermarket switch the only way. With the off-road I will have to put it up near the mts or get a new plate to squeeze another switch in the center.

There are decent looking aftermarket switches though.

Yeah as long as they’re not cheap looking they work and it doesn’t set my car on fire I’ll be happy

i hope you get what your expecting OP my old truck that i just traded for this (2016 canyon) i had dealer install heated seats and they were the cheapest things in the world. the elements barley got warm and the rocker switches were cheap. i ended up ripping everything out and installing a kit from heatyourseat. they got super hot almost to hot and the switches were a flat push button membrane wich you could mount anywhere.not to ramble but i was looking at the ebay kits with the toyota style roller switch can anyone confirm that ebay kts are any good

True indeed but it's a shame that heated seats came at such a premium considering I really didn't want anything else in the package.

The wires should be there plugged into blanks. Might have to switch out your panel for one with.

Im just assuming because when i had mine apart there were multiple factory connectors plugged into blanks for qi charging etc.

    I bought this:
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MEE6KLX/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
And then bought the 5 blank switch to replace my 3 blank panel that has the ECT, Qi, and HDMI outlet/buttons so it would look as factory as it could. The switches in the Amazon kit are identical to the ones in my wifes 17 RAV4. I simply installed the seat switches in the 2 new blanks. It is very similar to where they are on the Rav. Someone who has never seen factory heated seats in a tacoma would never know these aren't factory.

I would not accept any out of place looking switch in my truck. A round switch is going to look like ass in a truck with a bunch of square switches.

This is what aftermarket heated seats should look like imo:

I've got a quote from my dealer for Katskinz and heated seats with the switches installed where I'd like them for $2100.

If that is the case, then order the 3 panel blank for the cubby and relocate some switches and add the heated seat switches. Meso also makes a panel for on the ceiling as well. Ultimately there is a factory looking solution to this problem.

Total junk, they should have atleast put the switches in the panel and not your console imo.
