DEFCO is not completely gone, you can still feel it under certain conditions. It is definitely not nearly as pronounced though. I thought the EXACT same thing when I first drove on 1.03C. I never experienced/noticed the rev hang, but I find 1.03C to be a little twitchy and a bit overzealous on tip-in. I am going to go back to 1.03B and see how that goes.

Dood, I've offered before and I'll do it again.

I'd buy ya a bottle of something nice and meet ya at a place of your choosing...if you'd take me for a ride and youre take on the toon.

Make this YYZ 04B10 MT driver happy!

Here's a suggestion, put the link to the flash manager somewhere on the actual site instead of making people dig through a forum to find it.

edit: Better suggestion, host all these files on your own site instead of sending us to hosting sites. Very poor user experience. No wonder folks get confused.

I agree though, having the link to the flash manager in the Tacoma instructions where the software is actually mentioned would be helpful... did I miss something in there?

nah, i searched his site and nothing.

    found in the alpha thread.

now pcmflash i have but won't extract because chrome and windows say it's a virus. trying to bypass that now but again, really bad experience just trying to get this started and i work in IT. Trust me, this is not how it needs to be.

like others have stated, you will definitely need to disable any and all real time virus monitoring software. i just went into services and stopped all anti virus services. they'll remain off until my next reboot.

Kk, been following this thread for quite awhile...not a customer yet so I haven't downloaded anything.

I'm a IT Systems guy as well...are part of the problem peeps are struggling with, steps that can be completed by joe public, without purchase? If so point me at the DL links and I'll have a go and help diagnose.

Yes, the hosting sites and system for getting all the files is very frustrating. Some TLC and organization is deeply needed. If it were not for the fact that his tune transformed the truck completely, I would be having a few more choice words for the over all customer service. Matt desperarly needs a customer service person.

rain guards, hood deflector, oem tonneau, BFG ko2's, led lightbar behind grill, highlift jack mount side rail, husky Xact front & rear mats, bedrug, AFE cold air intake with scoop, TB spacer, Spec U exhaust, Hikari - lumileds Led's, any time backup cam and gps, OV tune 103B, TRD pro grille, Cali raised pod fog lights, ECGS needle bearing, Bilstein 5100's, Low range offroad 3-1 level kit, SPC light racing ctrl arms, spidertraxx 1.25in spacers, Ride right airbags, clazzio seat covers, carrier bearing spacer, diff drop spacer.....
Update, I have put around 300km's on 103c tune. I installed the tune let it idle for 20 mins after flashing. Still get bouncy rpms at idle intermittently. If I try to drive the truck cold the bouncy rpm condition cause the truck to buck and is jerky. I have to basically get on the gas. Over 1k rpm in order to get it to stop. When the truck is warm that settles down. I just finished 200km trip today and the stuttering or stumbling is still there. Most prevalent whrn climbing up hills in the 2200 to 2800 range. Very annoying and doesnt feel good at all. Basically got to gear down and get into the 3K range. This tune needs work. Not sure if its because of the AFE cold air intake with scoop and throttle body spacer or a combination of this and a full spec U exhaust system. Can say there is more power thats for sure but my truck isnt smooth with this tune.
