What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

i joined the club.

 

So got it lifted yesterday and an alignment today. Unfortunately I didn’t have time to take it to the mountains. Here are some better pics after the alignment.

Before Alignment-

FD: 36 7/8”

FP: 37”

RD: 38 5/8”

RP: 39 1/8”


After Alignment-

FD: 37 3/8”

FP: 37 1/2”

RD: 38 5/8”

RP: 39 1/8”




Eibach pro lift coils, 5100’s all around, SPC UCA’s, ToyTec progressive mini leaf pack.

So far it rides a ton better than the 5100’s with stock coils did.

 

Looks good. What size tires? How much lift did you get in the rear?

Ordered Bilstein 5100s for front and rear and a set of Icon AAL. Just need to get the ECGS bushing and it will be good to go.

I took advantage of the 20% off eBay coupon they had yesterday. Was able to get the Bilsteins for $280 shipped.

 

Thanks! 265/75/16 KO2’s and thinking of going up to 285’s. I’m not 100% sure how much I got in the rear but the guys @TOYTEC said I would get about 2.5”. My guess is that’s about what I got.

 

Can you explain why you need the ECGS bushing with your lift?

 

Did you leave the factory overload in?

 

Got my gasshole and @mesojdm ultimate done light today. Dude makes some awesome shit and his attention to detail is unreal! That dome light is insanely bright

 

I derped the hinges black. And replaced stainless screws with black ones. The new diamondback covers next month comes with stock black hinges. Damn! I missed it also.

 

I hate usps! They either deliver to my packages to the house down the block with similar # or they just don’t deliver at all! This Gasshole has to wait til Monday. Maybe

Have one on its way. Given the fact that some are having trouble removing the screw and buggering it up I'm considering cutting off the screw tab and using 3M tape to install.
I'll have to check it out first to see if it's feasible.

 

@AMorash Do you think it has too much rake? Sometimes I'll look at it and think it's too much and other times i think it's just the right amount.

No it looks awesome. I like the rake, when I lift mine I want to keep a rake.

 

It seams that a lot of people run into vibration issues. Ya cheap enough that I’d rather just install it and not have to worry.

 

Two years ago when I got the 16, I could have gotten $25,000 for the 11, with over 90,000 miles on it. I only paid like $29,500 for it! That's pretty amaziing! I will be surprised if the 3rd gen can hold value like this.
