Hell yeah! I was worried it might be too much but I like it. At the end of the day i guess that's all that matters right? Now i need to figure out if i'm going up to 285's..

I had to use my cordless impact. Ihad my son push against the back of the door while I put a lot of pressure against the impact and went very slow. It broke it loose nicely. If I would have continued trying with regular hand screw driver, I would have stripped it for sure. Damn thing was on there to stay! Good luck!

I used a hand screwdriver. Had to use a little pressure but came out without issue.

I was having trouble and concerned about screwing up the screw head. The regular screw diver wouldn't stay in place. I used my impact screw driver with a large bit. Didn't need to hit it, but was heavy enough with the right bit to get the screw loose.

No regrets, I think it will definitely sufice, has a nice feel to it. For me anyway. Mind you I am not a big guy, so it would be different for everyone, I suppose!

It cracks me up with how some of us are OCD and meticulous (anal) with the smallest details. I am that way for sure! I'll tell myself, it's not a big deal, it's only a 1/4". Then a few days go by and i'm like.. MUST FIX IT!! haha!

If you don't have an impact handy, I think the ratchet with the #3 Phillips tip would do the job nicely. I actually used a #2, didn't have my reader's on so not sure which one it actually is.

Looks like you have the room for 285s, it would look good and help off road. I’m going to go with 265/75R16 and go with a modest lift of 1-1.5” all around and keep the rake

I swear I was going to leave it alone even after measuring it for 2 weeks on a full, half and empty tank. But then I bought the 285s knowing it's going to need massaging, cmc, etc that it would ultimately drive me crazy not fixing it. Lol

I am only 5' 6". If you are closer to 6' and plan on using it a lot, you might want the bigger one. Stop at a Home Depot or another similar type store and swing a couple different sizes, then you will make a better decision for your needs.

Mine was so freaking tight that I was afraid it was going to strip the head , so I grabbed my impact to avoid that problem. It losened up no problem then! In the END, Meso ended up making Gassholes out of a bunch of us! And we salute him for it!:burnrubber:
