    Stock.
I've done a few small cosmetic things, but in terms of actual mods i'm planning to hold off until i get some real miles on mine (Just tipped past 13k) and have it paid off. Although different tires are definitely on the short list. I'll have the title in hand in one year so maybe ill celebrate that with some new shoes

I don't consider accessories such as tired, wheels, intakes, exhausts to be real mods. Harder stuff such lifts, suspension upgrades, re-gearing, engine upgrades, etc. would classify as mods IMO.

I've done only cosmetic things: Pro Grill, HID, LED fog lamp, seat covers, running boards. I'm really happy with the stock TRD OR suspension and wheels and have zero interest in changing it. Power train will also remain stock.

Nice truck. I plan on keeping mine 99% stock until the warranty is over then we will see. Besides the obvious tonneau cover and shit like this

Not going to mod mine, didn't mod my 2011. Keep em bone stock.

I've put probably $20K into my 65 Chevy. I don't need another money pit.

What do you use to make your tires so shiny? I had to lower the contrast setting on my computer after putting on my sunglasses to see them. :spy:

The first 10 years and 120k miles are the break in period, keeping the truck more or less "stock".

The second 10 years and 120k miles are the fix and replace with better comments period.

    After that, let fly.........

The only mods I’ve done are the glove box decal and the tailgate decal. I like to keep the truck as close as possible to stock. Someone hit and run the rear of my truck destroying both chrome end caps. I had the end caps replaced with the original chrome. Im probably older than most on here at 71 years old. Don’t want a lift as it is already difficult for me to get in the truck. I’ve had my 2016 Tacoma SR5 for 2 years and just hit 2,800 miles.

    Refreshing post op.......
I saved up for a few years and did my research.
Got my dream truck and love it as is.
I did get the pro grille because the chrome in the 17’ just didn’t match my stormtrooper look.

I don't believe in heavy modes but will do small thing to distinguish it from other Tacoma. I've had my 18 for 3 month and have done the following, new wheels on stock tires, pro grill, running boards, hard tonneau cover, power tail gate lock, led light bar, front mount hitch (for snow plow), removed decals from box and added black Tacoma badges to doors and running the OV tune. I consider all these slight modes as practical and make the truck more enjoyable.

Stock except for the grill. I also don't like modding before the warranty is up ,and the truck is incredibly capable as-is.

I seldom do anything to my vehicles as I drive 25K+ a year. But, there are one million gray TRD Sports in my town of 18K people. I had to make mine a bit different this time so i bought some wheels. That will be it.

One thing: Your vehicle is at its most reliable and dependable when its stock.

Make sure you have them use ceramic tint. Cost more money but the heat deflection is like 50-75% greater.

Got them off Amazon. They're called i-boards and and cost half what Toyota wanted and are more functional.

When I saw my truck last april, it was the perfect truck. It was exactly the way I wanted one. So I bought it and was extremely happy......until I joined TW!!!!! With two daughters in college, money for mods is limited. I have a 2" lift, 33's and a "D" ring hitch in the rear. That is about it. But good enough for now.
