Greasable doesn't always equate to better just saying. But you go to any parts store they'll carry Moog or other suspension brands and are good aftermarket replacements.

I looked at Moog and couldn't find any zerk fitted ball joints for the three I want to do.

You aren't going to get anything with a zerk fitting you could always buy a zerk tap and drill and tap a hole and install your own if you really want a grease fitting, but they aren't designed to be greased if they don't come with it already done.

That's the thing. If I replace them the boots will rip in less than 10k miles but if I have something that's made to be greased I can just keep a few pumps in it every couple thousand after the boot rips for way cheaper.

Why do you think the boots will rip in 10k. My truck has almost 200k I am not easy on it the tie rods are tight no ripped boots or anything. You can just buy boots as well.

You'll be fine with just replacing them with something like a MOOG don't over think things. Boots being torn on a greasable one isn't good either. You can get MOOG joints with urethane boots that will be much tougher than typical rubber and hold up to more abuse. If you can't find them then energy suspension or prothane make urethane boots just gotta figure out some that'll fit it may be for a chevy truck or something

Thanks. I had to get crafty setting it to measure for the final cut since I was working solo. Fortunately I have a bunch of scrap wood from a fence project I'm wrapping up.

Just for the urethane tie rod boots not the tie rod themselves. Hold tight.
