Evening everyone !!

Seeing a few sprinkles in my area but no measurable precip

We had sprinkles all day today. It turned out to be a really good day to work. Had I not looked at the clock in my truck I probably would have put in another hour or 3 easily.

And now I can't find it! I am going to have dig the printed version out of the trash and do a keyword search and save it to my google docs. The filling is from Americas Test Kitchen- pecan pie filling. Used my new cast iron pie irons. Seasoned with bacon grease of course



But I am sure they are no where near as good as your pecan pies!

Did you know palm trees even grow in SD in the winter?



At least this farmer has a sense of humor. Lot of folks that have never seen them before think they are real. People actually use them as a landmark, not much else around to use for a long ways. It is usually something like 30 or 40 miles after you pass the palm trees on your right headed West.

Where I work they are non-native and invasive. I don't take them all out yet until we plant natives so we still have quite a few.

getting ready for work. In the dark again because of the clock set back.

Vermont was looking in to abandoning this practice but it didn't pass in the state house.

 

Won’t pass unless every ne state goes along.
I love daylight savings.
Don’t care going into work in the dark.
It’s the time you can have after you get out of work so you can actually do something and enjoy the outdoors.
