New Owner - 2001 4x4 xtracab

Hello all, just bought a 2001 Tacoma 4x4 xtracab, 4cyl. 5spd. It has 80K miles and overall is in good shape. The options are SR5 package and wheels.

Had been looking for a work truck and used to have the pre-Tacoma version (1994) many years ago.

Thanks - was looking for green. My 94 was the same color except gray int. vs. oak in this one.

You found a very nice and clean Taco. I keep looking for one like it but no luck so far.

 

I had been looking for a while. Wanted 1st gen, xtracab, 5spd if possible. Had a local Prerunner sold out from under me while I was on my way to look at it.

Found this at a Toyota dealer 200 miles away and jumped because it was clean, had the color I wanted, was a 5spd. The camper top and 4x4 were extras that I didn't need to have but were nice to have. I probably over paid given it was a Toyota dealer but it was what I was looking for and I assumed they would give it a pretty thorough once over.

I plan to take it to the local Toyota dealer for a frame inspection +

That's probably a good idea. The dealer that sold it to you "should" have inspected the frame, but they probably can't be trusted. Truck looks nice, good luck with it.
