I drove to Worcester Co today on the eastern shore to pick up the boat, dropped that off then jumped back in my truck and drove here to my place in the mountains of WV. Now a hot shower & a cold beer is needed.

I finished this Bussmann build and install a few months back, i originally bought everything i needed to build 1 full relay set up for my truck, and and planned to use the extras to build one for my brothers FJ and maybe sell one. Unfortunately he has decided that he is going to sell his truck and wont be needing a relay box.

So... Due to the minimum order quantities of most of the pieces I have enough extra parts to build about 85% of 2 more of these things. Im going to sell these in order to soften the blow of the initial investment, i'm not planning on starting a business.

I don't think i can list this on the for B/S/T forum because i haven't built them yet, plus i can help install if someone local decides they want one. I have a bunch more details but i don't want to flood this forum with my crap, PM me for more info.

 

Installed another piece of armor today. My build is slowly coming along.

I installed one of these a few years back Cobra-75WXST-40-Channel. Small form factor and i can unplug it and throw it in the glove box when im not using it, which is most of the time. I like it because install time was 30 mins and it take up like zero space.

 

I’m really happy with this location. Easy to see and access, but out of everyone’s way.

 

Where do you hang the mic?

 

I have a RAM system and I made a little mic holder out of some aluminum bar.

 

Nice! Yeah that's probably where I'll mount it. I'm just not excited about drilling holes in the center console.
