    Good Afternoon everyone
Going through moms house we found 5 bottles of wine that my dad made back in 1977. We opened up 2 bottles. Not too bad after 40 years, it was more like brandy. I took one bottle home and have it on a shelf in living room.20180311_145233.jpg

More crap to go wrong. More weight off the back. Harder to hold the prop in the water.

A friend of mine has them made when he takes something to get butchered (elk, deer, pig, beef). The shoo he uses has natural casings that are somewhere between 8-10 mm. They aren't bad but too much salt for me.

I think back to my time in Germany and Korea and only remember it being about 24-36" for the season. The cold was bad enough (Korea was f'n brutal!).

I'd imagine not too much different than you guys, just a touch more humidity. Too cold for me now, that's for sure!

Yea the cold is starting to get to me more.
This year with the temp fluxing it’s playing games with my mojo.
I’m lucky I’m not full blown spring yet. If I was I would be a hurtin unit.

Projects done for day. A few pictures of my make-shift drain. Nothing fancy. The tank purges about 6 gallons in a 24 hr period, so this should do. 5 gallon pail with holes drilled on the top and sides. Busted up old block underneath around the sides with pea-gravel. Before I covered the last layer of pea-gravel I put some building paper down. Next will be cleaning up this corner with some landscaping. Will strip the couple of forms late tomorrow or Tuesday. Time to hit the rain :rain: locker and get ready to put the Feedbag on :hungry: have a great evening everyone.

That's like what I did under the faucet in the back yard, where the dogs water bowl sits. Dug down with a post hole digger, as deep as I could, lined with plastic and filled with gravel. 5 gallon bucket on top filled with gravel, and scalloped border in a square and a square concrete paver to sit the bowl on. Means no mud puddles for pups to dig in. Only time it ever got wet and icky was when I left the water dripping overnight :anonymous:

Thanks Mike, this outside drain system with an outside water softener definitely wouldn’t fly up your way, with our climates so different! Lol :)
