BHLM gone HORRIBLY wrong!

Yeah, but I needed one immediately so I could drive the truck. They are really strict about stuff like this on base, and I didn't want to get a ticket on top of everything else that happened. So I just bit the bullet and literally "paid the price" for my stupidity.

I sent requests to several members who do BHLM and all of them told me they wouldn't do it because I didn't want to upgrade the lights. They all told me it was to labor intensive and expensive not to upgrade the lights at the same time, so "sorry, we won't do it". I thought money was money, but I guess not.

This has to be the blackest headlight mod I've ever seen. Kinda adds a whole new meaning to the "smoked" look.

 

hate to be there bearer of bad news; but your wife is totally gonna know, because its gonna be in the paper. reporters routinely call police fire and ems for the local blurbs. as for the no cost thing, unless you got that in writing, i think you are dreaming. its not up to the firefighters, or even the chief who gets charged and who doesn't. once they file the report, which as sure as your sitting there reading this, there will be a report, and base the charges on circumstances, apparatuses deployed, manpower, and consumables. so yeah buddy, youre totally getting a bill.

I put the fire out myself quite quickly. I called the fire department to bring a ventilation fan to help remove the smoke from my house. Nothing was on fire when they arrived, and it was actually another one of my neighbors who also called 911 and said that my home was on fire and that smoke was pouring out all the kitchen windows.

Grown ass men fuck up lots of things, everyday. Just look at President Cheeto.

I paid that price for the light because I needed to replace it immediately so I could drive the vehicle without getting a ticket. I needed the truck that night and didn't have much of a choice. A $100 ticket would have just added to the mess.
