What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Installed the same LED bulbs.
Very bright.
BUT, in the darkness, if going in reverse, the cam blinds you a lot

 

Those look SICK! I saw some on ebay, but I would have to try and paint them and color match myself. wonder if anyone makes them in Barcelona red?

Debadged. Still need to clean it up but I'm liking the smooth look

 

I have not taken the Taco Tag off, but I pealed the dealership sticker off the first weekend. Plan to chuck the license plate border once my real plate shows up in the mail. It is serving a free purpose of not letting my paper plate blow all over the place. hahaha

 

Just passed the one year mark of owning the truck and decided to give it a proper wash, clay, and wax. Had my daughter help with the wheels, tires, mudflaps, and sidesteps.

Maybe its already been said before or peaps already know, but...
Sylvania's 194/168/2825 cool white led bulbs work fantastic for side marker lights in 05-11 2nd gens, don't know about the 12-15's though. It's not illegal here to use white marker lights instead of the stock yellow halogens so why not.
Also, Autozone doesn't carry them cause they're stupid lol

Yeah I bought mine from eBay from my understanding that's the only guy who makes them. I bought paint and did it myself in the garage.

 

Spent all day with my new to me ARB. Reused my OEM fogs in the ARB housing. Took a little finagling but man it's almost like they were made for the ARB housings. The passenger housing was cracked up pretty bad, but I used some gorilla glue, some black drip irrigation hose (split) and a new coat of paint and it looks decent. I'll keep my eye open for a replacement one day. Still need to wire up the turn signals and indicators. Hit the whole bumper with a coat of satin black spray paint. Damn thing looks brand new. At the price I got this thing I am super pleased.

 

That would be shitty! Would you buy it back?

That's how I got my mobtown bumper!

 

Swapped out the old dirty yellow lenses/custom gunmetal bezels to sport bezels/mint condition lenses. Buffed it and added jet seal(uv protectant). Ripping apart 4 headlight housings was a lot of fun. Sealed with TRS gray rubber butyl.

looks good i approve of the arb bumper. vertical winch install for the bumper is easy, just drop the bumper skid and slide it in there with the bumper on the truck
