So on my way into work today my pre collision assist light came on saying that it was off. I was on the highway going highway speeds with no cars around. After about 5 minutes the light went back off and everything seems to be working fine. Have any of you guys had this happen to you? Is it something worth making a trip to the dealership to have it checked out?

It was moderately foggy but no rain... I live in the Bay area so fog is pretty common

This also happened to me yesterday driving home. Everything was fine but pulled into the driveway, parked, and the pre collision assist light came on also. Went away upon turning off and starting back on.

The system uses the front emblem/radar and the window camera. Chances are, something was blocking parts of those. Moisture/water? Bugs? If the system doesn’t have both, it will deactivate. I did a bunch of playing during a recent 12hr trip and will be eventually posting some of the things I learned about TSS/ACC/LDS.

Ok well it's good to know I'm not the only who has had this problem, my truck is clean but there was definitely condensation on it so maybe that's what it was.
