no they plug in to obd2 port. also need to pass brake and light inspection that includes safety crap. Going through salvaged title process sucks.

my bad I thought you were getting a smog check and that's only cel afaik, but tbh I never had one not pass for a light so I don't really know. Your truck has a salvaged title?

 

i totaled it, bought back to LT it and be my project.

 

Any illegal activity will get someone banned afaik. It's not uniformly upheld - the socal banner pic has a truck front and center that three wheels through intersections all the time and posts it on IG. It kind of pisses me off because its in a low income part of LB where if he f's up he could take out someone without good insurance for work / healthcare. I pm'd @tcBob about it, but the pic is still up there.

I clearly explained in a pm to moderators that that truck is known for doing that kind of stuff on IG. It was ignored. It's up to you guys to decide how important local issues are. I made my complaint - I'm not saying you're wrong; ethically I don't agree with the driver's decisions.
